St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Boulder City transforms “the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families by empowering them to create new chances, new choices and new hope in a caring community.”
Residents of St. Jude’s can also benefit from a variety of programs and therapeutic services to meet their needs and help improve their lives.
The St. Jude’s facility in Boulder City was founded more than 45 years ago and many of the buildings are that old and older. Earlier this year, Cooper Roofing & Solar replaced the roofs on three of the buildings at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and performed some minor repairs on some of the other buildings on the campus, which overlooks Lake Mead.
There are many ways in which you can get involved with St. Jude’s Ranch, through donating money, volunteering your time, donating items to their Wish List and more.
St. Jude’s also has a program in which you can sign up to become a “Givver”. By donating just $5, enough to feed a child living at St. Jude’s Ranch three highly-nutritious meals in a day, you can become a “Givver”. Givvers can also use Twitter to notify their followers and encourage them to give.
As the holiday season reaches its peak, please remember those children who aren’t as fortunate as our own – those who are abused, at-risk and who need the services of St. Jude’s. Your gift to St. Jude’s can go a long way toward making these children’s lives brighter.
Through the holiday season, we’ve been featuring some of the worthy charitable organizations that we support and assist. We’ve highlighted the work they do in the community and urge you to remember them with contributions of your time, talent and treasure. Previous posts in this series can be found here, here and here.
